Job description

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an Angular Developer to fill the role(s) within the eCRM Program, ensuring the needs of Government are met.

These resources will follow the Agile-Iterative delivery approach for delivering quality software while meeting the Province’s requirements.

The scope of services to be provided by the successful Proponent(s), through qualified Angular Developer resource(s), encompasses a portion of the overall infrastructure of the eCRM Program.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support and knowledge of Angular 20+ development as aligned to the Province’s (eCRM) (Oracle Sales and Service PAAS) composable solutions, leveraging prebuilt components and continuing to add to them;

• Modifying existing Angular code or creating new code in accordance with approved design specifications, best coding practices, and technical guidelines to ensure high quality and performance of the resulting module(s);

• Working with various stakeholders to develop and document the technical design for applications;

• Building software releases from multiple development project streams and managing multiple tier deployment environments;

• Performing full application upgrades and patches within a full stack environment;

• Providing effort estimates/timelines for complex new development projects and application upgrades and meeting those timelines;

• Developing code for multiple tier deployment environments (Dev, QA, Staging, and Production);

• Delivering quality software as part of a composable solution for eCRM following an Agile-Iterative delivery methodology;

• Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to solve problems in an integrated environment;

• Following a continuous delivery pipeline with GIT source control management and MS Azure Devops Pipeline;

• Performing other duties as assigned by the Province.

Deliverables:

Follow Agile Iterative Methodology

• Complete the project following the eCRM Agile Iterative Methodology and deliver using the templates provided.
  
  

Documentation

• Create and deliver technical documentation per the Agile Iterative Methodology and templates.
  
  

Team Player

• Work closely with the other members of the program and project teams, including the program/product manager, solution architect, front and back end developers, other project managers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, and UX designer to deliver designed solutions.
  
  

Composable/Reusable

• Ensure the resource creates reusable components and avoid customization where possible.
  
  

Qualifications:

• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an Angular Developer in delivering solutions in a complex environment (front end, middle, and back end).

This experience must include:

o Angular v20+;

o HTML, JSON;

o CSS, SASS;

o Writing Angular web applications using Reactive programming model;

o Working in an Agile or Hybrid environment;

o Writing code that is well designed, tested, and put into a production environment;

o Working with MS Azure DevOps and managing its boards; and

o Understanding of the technical solution from design through to code level.

• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated technical experience.

This experience must include:

o Developing or supporting web applications using web technologies, protocols, and tools including existing and emerging software development tools, frameworks, and languages;

o Open source frameworks to create microservices;

o Evaluating risks and predicting potential problems;

o Working closely with other team members to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and deliver on those estimates;

o Root cause analysis vs a quick fix solution;

o Strong critical reasoning skills;

o Delivering on complex system development projects from design through to release; and

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in the following will be considered an asset:

• Working with government organizations;

• Working with Automation servers, CI using software such as MS Azure Devops Pipeline and Git;

• Working with Mulesoft;

• Working with Oracle Fusion Sales and Service (CRM);

• Working with Business Process Management Systems – Rules Engine (BPMS); and

• Working with Microsoft Graph or SharePoint.
